STM Launches Second Vessel for Malaysian Navy in Istanbul

STM, Türkiye's leading naval engineering company, has launched RAJA LAUT, the second vessel in the three-corvette program for the Royal Malaysian Navy, during a ceremony in Istanbul. This launch follows the successful debut of the first vessel two weeks ago, indicating the project is on schedule. The third ship is expected to be launched in August 2024, further advancing the Royal Malaysian Navy's capabilities.

The LMS Batch II project aims to enhance the operational performance of the Royal Malaysian Navy by adding modern corvettes to its fleet. Each vessel will support anti-piracy operations, maritime security, and search-and-rescue missions in the region.
