BrahMos Aerospace

BrahMos Aerospace is an Indo-Russian joint venture between India's DRDO and Russia's NPO Mashinostroyeniya, developing and producing the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile — the world's fastest operational cruise missile at Mach 2.8-3.0. Deployed on land (mobile launchers), sea (Indian Navy ships), and air (Su-30MKI). Philippines became the first export customer in 2022. BrahMos-NG (miniaturized, for more aircraft types) and BrahMos-II (Mach 6+ hypersonic) are under development. Range: 290 km (export) / 450+ km (domestic).
