The Leopard 2E is Spain's enhanced variant of the Leopard 2A6, built under license by Santa Bárbara Sistemas. It features an improved armor package beyond the standard Leopard 2A6 baseline, giving it among the best protection of any Leopard 2 variant.

Network integration allows this platform to function as a sensor node as much as a strike platform.
SIMILAR SYSTEMS
The avionics suite on this platform sets a new benchmark for sensor fusion. Integration with other nodes is the key differentiator.
