Overview
Poland's Narew programme is a short-to-medium range air defence system based on MBDA's CAMM (Common Anti-Air Modular Missile). The CAMM uses an active radar terminal seeker for fire-and-forget autonomous engagement, cold-launched from a canister VLS enabling 360° engagement. Range is 25+ km. The Narew system fills the SHORAD/MRAD layer between MANPADS (Piorun) and the Patriot long-range system. PGZ is the Polish industrial partner. CAMM is also in service with the UK (Sky Sabre) providing a mature baseline.
