Overview
The world's most widely exported anti-tank guided missile family, deployed by 39 nations across 6 continents. The Spike family operates on a fire-and-forget/fire-and-update principle with electro-optical seekers and datalink. Spike MR (Medium Range, 2.5 km) is a shoulder-launched fire-and-forget missile with dual CCD/IIR seeker. Spike LR2 (Long Range 2, 5.5 km) adds fibre-optic datalink for lock-on-after-launch and mid-course correction with tandem HEAT warhead penetrating 1,000mm+ RHA. Spike ER2 (Extended Range 2, 10 km from ground / 16 km from helicopter) features an RF datalink, multipurpose warhead options (tandem HEAT, PBF, or combined), and multiplatform launch capability from vehicles, helicopters, and naval vessels. Over 37,000 Spike missiles have been delivered globally. The Spike family has been selected over the US Javelin and European competitors in numerous competitive trials, establishing Rafael as the world leader in tactical precision missiles.
