Booz Allen Hamilton is an American management and information technology consulting firm headquartered in McLean, Virginia. Founded in 1914, the company is one of the largest US defence and intelligence contractors, employing over 34,000 people with approximately 29,000 holding active security clearances. Booz Allen is deeply embedded in the US national security apparatus, providing management consulting, analytics, digital engineering, and cybersecurity services to the Department of Defense, intelligence community (IC), and federal civilian agencies. The company manages the NSA's PRISM program infrastructure (revealed by Edward Snowden in 2013, who was a Booz Allen contractor), the Army's Synthetic Training Environment, and numerous classified cyber and AI programs. Booz Allen's Cyber capabilities include offensive and defensive cyber operations support, red team services, zero-trust architecture implementation, and supply chain risk management for the IC and DoD. The firm manages the Defense Intelligence Agency's (DIA) Advanced Analytics program and provides personnel for Cyber Command's Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF). Annual revenue reached $10.7 billion in fiscal year 2024.
