CH-7

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL SISTEMA

The CH-7 is China's high-altitude stealthy combat UCAV demonstrator developed by CASC. It features a flying-wing design optimized for low-observable characteristics and high-altitude flight, similar in concept to the American RQ-170 Sentinel and X-47B. The CH-7 is intended for strategic reconnaissance and precision strike missions in denied airspace, operating at altitudes above 10,000 meters.

VENTAJAS
  • Stealthy flying-wing design for high-altitude ISR in denied airspace
  • High altitude capability avoids most short-range air defense systems
  • Long range enables strategic reconnaissance deep into adversary territory
  • Unmanned eliminates pilot casualty risk in high-threat environments
  • Internal weapons bay maintains stealth profile during strike
DESVENTAJAS
  • Still in development/demonstrator phase, limited operational deployment
  • High-altitude speed limited compared to supersonic designs
  • Complex mission systems require significant ground infrastructure
  • Communications link security in contested environments a challenge
