SYSTEM OVERVIEW
The BMP-2M is a modernized variant of the BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle, featuring an upgraded fire control system with thermal imager and the Kornet-E ATGM launcher. Algeria operates a significant fleet of BMP-2/M vehicles as its primary mechanized infantry carrier. The M variant upgrade improves both anti-armor and fire control capabilities substantially.
