Overview
The Combattante III is a French-designed fast attack missile craft (FAC-M) built by CMN. Tunisia operates several of these vessels as its primary naval strike platform. Armed with Exocet MM40 anti-ship missiles and a combination of 76mm and 40mm guns. Displaces approximately 425 tonnes. While effective in coastal defense roles when commissioned, the class is now decades old and faces increasing obsolescence. It remains the backbone of Tunisia's naval surface combatant capability in the Mediterranean.
