Overview
Enhanced Batch 2 of the K130 Braunschweig-class corvettes for the German Navy, featuring modernized combat and communications systems. Displacement of 1,840 tonnes with a crew of 65. Armed with 4x RBS 15 Mk3 anti-ship missiles, 2x RIM-116 RAM point defense missiles, 1x Oto Melara 76mm Super Rapid gun, and 2x MLG 27 27mm remote weapons. Features an Atlas Elektronik TRS-3D/16 air/surface search radar and comprehensive electronic warfare suite. Optimized for littoral operations including maritime interdiction, surface warfare, and mine countermeasures support. Five Batch 1 ships were delivered 2008-2013. Five Batch 2 ships ordered in 2017 with deliveries from 2024-2025, bringing the class to ten vessels.
