Overview
Soviet-era main battle tank in Uzbek storage. Approximately 170 T-62M tanks inherited from Soviet forces, most held in storage rather than active service. The M variant added laser rangefinder and improved fire control but remains essentially a 1960s design. Being gradually replaced by T-72B3.
