The HAL Tejas Mk1A is an improved variant of India indigenous lightweight multirole combat aircraft. It features an upgraded AESA radar (EL/M-2052), improved electronic warfare suite, advanced beyond-visual-range missiles, and a digital flight control system. The Mk1A addresses many shortcomings of the original Tejas while maintaining the lightweight delta wing design.
