KBP Instrument Design Bureau (Priborostroitelny Zavod / KBP OAO), located in Tula, Russia, is one of the world's leading designers of advanced weapons systems including anti-tank guided missiles, CIWS systems, and small arms. KBP's most famous products are the Kornet (AT-14) anti-tank missile — the world's most widely exported modern ATGM, used in conflicts from Lebanon to Libya to Ukraine — and the Pantsir-S1 combined gun/missile SHORAD system. Other products include the Metis-M ATGM, Shturm/Ataka helicopter ATGM, 2A42 autocannon (BMP-2, Ka-52), GSh-23 aircraft cannon, and the OSA-AK air defense missile. KBP's Kornet has been copied by Iran, North Korea, and several other nations due to its effectiveness.
