Self-propelled anti-aircraft weapon system combining twin 30mm autocannons with Shingung (Chiron) short-range surface-to-air missiles on a K200 APC tracked chassis. The twin 30mm Oerlikon KCB cannons fire at a combined rate of 1,200 rounds/minute with effective anti-aircraft range of 3 km. The MANPADS-derived Shingung missiles extend the engagement envelope to 7 km with infrared homing guidance. Features the Samsung Thales EOTS (Electro-Optical Tracking System) with FLIR and TV tracking plus a search radar for autonomous target acquisition. The hybrid gun-missile combination provides layered point defense against helicopters, low-flying aircraft, cruise missiles, and UAVs. Weight of 25 tonnes with a crew of 3. Approximately 180 in ROK Army service. An upgraded K30 Hybrid variant with improved electronics and missile capability is also in development.
