Mi-171Sh Terminator
The Mi-171Sh is a military assault and utility helicopter variant of the Mi-8/Mi-17 family produced by Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, optimized for the air assault, troop transport, and armed escort roles. Powered by two Klimov TV3-117VM turboshaft engines each producing 1,617 shp, it can carry 24 combat-equipped troops or 4,000 kg of cargo. Weapon options include B8V20A rocket pods, KMG-U cluster dispensers, and 12.7mm gun pods. Bangladesh uses the Mi-171Sh for rapid reaction force deployment, border patrol, and flood disaster response across its complex delta geography.
