Heavy armoured support vehicle based on the Leopard 2 chassis, fulfilling armoured recovery, engineer, and logistics support roles. The Wisent 2 platform serves multiple variants: the Armoured Recovery Vehicle (ARV) with 30-tonne crane and 80-tonne towing capability for recovering disabled MBTs under fire, and the Armoured Engineer Vehicle with a multi-purpose excavator arm. Features the same level of armoured protection as the Leopard 2A6 with NBC system and smoke grenade launchers. Weight of approximately 55 tonnes with a 1,500 hp MTU power pack. In service with the Bundeswehr and exported to several Leopard 2 operator nations. Essential for maintaining armoured formations' operational tempo.
